Barbara: In the late 1950s, I gave mom, well actually, a school was selling paperback books, and I found a cookbook called Ann Pillsbury Baking Book. And I thought it would be nice to give my mom for Christmas. It cost 35 cents. And so I went home and I used to use different recipes in it. But on Thanksgiving time, Mom said to me, Why don’t you make those caramel rolls? And they were called No Knead — No Knead Cinnamon Rolls. And then you added a caramel on the bottom and they were in the cupcake tins. Well, it made a big hit. So every year, I would make them for Thanksgiving. And it’s been a tradition ever since. And I think I was like in the sixth grade when that happened. 

Speaker 2: Sixth grade, so. 

Barbara: 1950, yeah, around. 

Speaker 2: In the 1950s, okay. And can you tell a little bit about making them for Easter? 

Barbara: Yes, and then I, should I tell you? So then I think it was your mom found the recipe in one of the cookbooks and I made them for, Easter Sunday for quite a few years. And I’m still making them for Thanksgiving.
